Russ Stanley, who enters his 32nd season with the San Francisco Giants, is responsible for the ticket sales and fulfillment of all events at Oracle Park and Spring Training games at Scottsdale Stadium. Stanley and his All-Star ticketing team have been pioneers in sports ticketing. They were the first to develop and implement a team sponsored, online secondary market website called the Double Play Ticket Window. They also introduced a Dynamic Pricing model which is common place today in professional sports and other demand-based businesses. Russ’ team also employed the first client retention team in 2000 and that group remains mostly intact providing stellar customer service for our best customers.
Stanley and his team of sales, operations, client relations, and luxury suites staff have implemented many progressive ideas that are designed to continually improve the fan experience at Oracle Park and Scottsdale Stadium. His team continues to stay focused on adapting to the latest mobile ticketing technology. Under Stanley’s leadership, his team continues to set the bar for the sports ticketing industry.
In addition to his Giants duties, Stanley serves on the board of the American Heart Association, San Francisco State University, and San Mateo Police Activities League. The San Francisco State graduate spent eight years at Marine World Africa USA before embarking on his Giants career in 1989.
