Jason Pearl, in his 29th season with the Giants, oversees the organization’s business development efforts. He works cross-departmentally to consider and pursue business opportunities with a specific focus on corporate marketing partnerships, the Mission Rock real estate development, the G-Tech investment portfolio and other non-traditional revenue generating programs.
The San Rafael, CA native started his career with the Giants in the ticket office in 1993, before moving his focus to corporate sponsorship within the marketing department in 1994. He played an integral role in developing the original naming rights agreement with Pacific Bell as well as the creation of the Winner’s Circle sponsorship model as part of the funding strategy to build the privately financed ballpark. More recently, Pearl led the negotiations on the new 20-year naming rights agreement with Oracle that began in 2019. In addition to his business development responsibilities, he oversees the organization’s Hispanic marketing, broadcast and outreach efforts, and the business relationship with the team’s flagship radio station, KNBR.
Pearl has been a longtime supporter of the non-profit social enterprise, Juma Ventures, and currently serves as Vice Chairman of Juma’s National Board of Directors.
A 1991 graduate of Cornell University, Pearl lives in San Francisco with his wife, Nikki, daughter, Ella, son, Ruben and their two dogs, Redmond and Juniper.
